Nina Hoe, Ph.D., is a Study Director at the Institute for Survey Research at Temple University. Her research focuses on education and gap year experiences, public opinion, as well as other areas of social science. She has advanced qualitative and quantitative research skills and her methodological areas of expertise include in-person interviews and focus groups, study design, program evaluation, survey methods, statistics, and project management. She has experience working with several large-scale, nationally representative data sets, and is proficient in SPSS, SAS, STATA, NVivo, AtlasTi, and ArcGIS. Nina hold a B.A. from Colorado College and an M.S.Ed. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
