Noam Obermeister

PhD Candidate in Geography, University of Cambridge

I am currently a PhD Student at the University of Cambridge. My main areas of interest are in science-policy, environmental and climate politics, the history and sociology of science, bioethics and science communication. For my PhD I intend to study the institutions of advice-giving in UK climate/environmental science-policy and specifically how scientists' expectations of their role as advisers are (tacitly) challenged and negotiated. I have a BA in International Politics from King’s College London and an MSc in Environment, Politics, and Society from UCL.
