Senior lecturer, UNSW

Noam Peleg is a senior lecture at the Faculty of Law, University of New South Wales. His main research and teaching areas are international children’s rights law, family law, socio legal studies and childhood studies. He has published and presented widely on children’s rights matters, and consulted non-governmental organisations on various children’s law related issues. His book ‘The Child’s Right to Development’ was published by Cambridge University Press in 2019. Noam is the book review editor and member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Children’s Rights. Before moving to academia, Noam practiced law in a number of human rights NGO’s, where he represented children in courts.
