Olivier Deschenes has been an associate professor of economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, since July 2007, and has also been affiliated with the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management since July 2008.

He's also affiliated with the National Bureau of Economic Research, the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, Germany, and UC Santa Barbara's Broom Center for Demography.
