Omid is a Ph.D. candidate in Social Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Perth, Australia. His Ph.D. research is about 'understanding integration experiences of Afghan immigrants in Australia'. Prior to his PhD studies, he has worked as a researcher in the Academic Centre of Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) in Iran for 4 years, where he served as the principal researcher of four funded projects. His main area of interest is immigrant integration into Australian society.
