Owusu Amponsah

Owusu Amponsah holds a PhD in planning, a Master of Science degree in development policy and planning, Postgraduate Diploma in land management and informal settlements regularization, and Bachelor of Science degree in planning. His research and professional interests lie in sustainable cities (emphasis on green infrastructure), informal urbanism and urban poverty reduction. He is currently the principal investigator on a project that is assessing Ghana's biofuel energy policy as an inducer or barrier to sustainable livelihoods. He is also the lead researcher for the sustainable city project.
