Lecturer in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour, Bournemouth University

Parisa is a lecturer in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour of Bournemouth University. She has a PhD in Leadership from the University of Exeter. This project focused on evaluating the impact of corporate leadership development programmes beyond purely financial measures. For example she looked at changes in identity, organisational culture and leadership style. The evaluation of leadership development in both the private and public sector still remains an important research area for her.

She also has an interest in gender and leadership and is carrying out research with both students and organisations at an international level. She is particularly interested in the potential challenges for women in and aspiring to leadership positions in different international contexts.

Other research interests include: employee engagement and digital leadership.
