Dr. R. Paul Battaglio, Jr. is a Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas and Co-Editor-in-chief of Public Administration Review. He teaches graduate courses in public management, public human resource management, and contract and project management. His major research interests concern comparative policy and administration, comparative political attitudes, and public human resource management reform. From 1996 to 2001 he was a policy analyst in the Louisiana Governor's Office where he specialized in issues related to economic development and transportation. He is the author of Public Human Resource Management: Strategies and Practices in the 21st Century (Washington, DC: SAGE/CQ Press).
