Paul Gardner

Paul Gardner is a Senior Lecturer in Literacy Education in the School of Education at Curtin University, Western Australia. He has written widely on aspects of literacy education both in Australia and England, from where he originates.

Initially, a high school teacher of English and Drama, Paul has also taught at primary level, as well as early years. For 8 Years he was an advisory teacher for multicultural education and EAL/D provision. His PhD explored writer identity and pedagogies of writing. In addition to writing academically, Paul also writes poetry and has recited his work at poetry events in the UK and Western Australia.
