Dr. Paul Kaseke Snr is an academic and legal specialist with a career in law, compliance, and education. He holds an LLB, LLM, and PhD from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), where his doctoral research concentrated on Administrative and Constitutional Law. He is a Sessional Lecturer at Wits University, collaborating with various departments including Wits Law School, Wits Plus, and the Wits Department of Social Work. He also serves as the Senior Managing Partner at AfriConsult Firm, a multidisciplinary consultancy, and has held the role of Legal Advisor/Adjudicator at the Credit Ombudsman Office in South Africa.

Paul's academic appointments are numerous, having served as a sessional lecturer and course developer at prominent institutions such as Wits University, Pearson Institute of Higher Education, and IIE MSA. His teaching portfolio is diverse, covering subjects like Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Customary Law, Labour Law, Credit Law, Entertainment and Media Law, Cyber Law, Governance, and Political-Legal Issues. He has supervised final year LLB, LLM, and PhD students, and continues to mentor the next generation of legal professionals.

In his professional capacity, he has acted as a legal advisor, regulatory and compliance specialist, and consultant to a variety of entities and individuals. His expertise encompasses entertainment law, regulatory matters, commercial transactions, money laundering, privacy law, and public law. Paul is adept at providing training and facilitating workshops on crucial legislative frameworks such as the National Credit Act, Consumer Protection Act, and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI).

He is dedicated to capacity building and empowerment initiatives across Africa. Paul is a member of several professional organizations, including the Institute of Business Advisors Southern Africa (IBASA), Administrative Justice Association of South Africa (ADJASA), African Network of Constitutional Lawyers, Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IoDSA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (South African Chapter), and the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa (CISA).

His scholarly contributions include chapters in "Commercial Law: Fresh Perspectives," 4th edition (MacMillan Publishing, 2023), edited by Du Plessis R. and Pillay K. He is also a regular commentator in the popular press, sharing his insights on legal and regulatory issues.
