I worked as a lawyer for 20 years before moving into academia, including 5 years in London and 5 years in California. I am now a Professor at the Monash University Faculty of Law, specialising in international human rights law generally, with a particular focus on children's rights and the rights of LGBTI people. My recent publications include the 3-volume collection Worldwide Perspectives on LGB People https://products.abc-clio.com/ABC-CLIOCorporate/product.aspx?pc=A4976C
