Paweł Banaś holds an MA in Arabic Language and Literature from Jagiellonian University in Krakow and an MSc in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh.Currently, he is pursuing his PhD as a member of ERC-funded GLOBALSPORT research project (http://global-sport.eu/) at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR UvA). He is carrying out fieldwork among West African footballers in Poland.
