Associate Professor in Educational Psychology and Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching, Macquarie University

Penny is an Associate Professor in Educational Psychology in the Department of Educational Studies, Macquarie University. She is also Director of the Centre for Children's Learning in a Social World, whose members conduct research examining children's learning in relationships with others, and Associate Dean: Learning and Teaching in the Faculty of Human Sciences.

Her background in developmental psychology. She completed her doctoral studies in the School of Psychology at the University of New South Wales, investigating children's development of autobiographical memory and emotion. She now applies her understanding of memory, emotion, development, and learning to the field of education.
