Peter Richmond

Professor Peter Richmond is Head of the Vaccine Trials Group which sits in the Wesfarmers Centre of Vaccines and Infectious Diseases.

Professor Richmond is also a Consultant Paediatric Immunologist and Paediatrician at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH), Head of the Department of Child Health Research, PCH and Director of the Child Health Research Network, Child and Adolescent Health Service. He also is the Head of Division of Paediatrics, School of Medicine at the University of Western Australia.

Peter's major research interests are the evaluation of new vaccines designed to prevent bacterial and viral infections in the paediatric population and understanding protective immunity infectious disease in young children.
