Petra Molnar is a lawyer specializing in migration and human rights. She is the Associate Director of the Refugee Law Lab, York University and a Faculty Associate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University. Petra works on technology and migration surveillance, immigration detention, gender-based violence, and the politics of refugee, migration, and international law. She is currently exploring the human rights impacts of surveillance and migration management technologies and is the author of The Walls Have Eyes: Surviving Migration in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (2024, The New Press).
