Former Associate Vice Provost, The University of Texas at Austin

Phil was the Assoc. Vice Provost for Learning Sciences at the University of Texas, Austin, Deputy Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, and a Clinical Professor in the iSchool and in the Department of Educational Psychology. He is a Founding Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland, and a Visiting Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a lapsed biologist cum learning technologist focused on emerging technologies and learning spaces, physical and virtual.
