I have 20 years of work experience. My research and development experience has been in agriculture and natural resource management and, in policies and politics for promoting and enhancing food and nutritional security in West and Central Africa. Specifically, I have worked on Non timber Forest Products (NTFPs) and Wild Edible Plants (WEP), Food and nutritional security, Cocao and coffee based agroforestry systems seed system and agricultural policies. Recently, I started working on agricultural innovations and innovation systems and with the outbreak of COVID, I started working on pandemics and agriculture. I am now a senior socio-economics researcher and have 30 executed projects/activities, 24 published papers, I book, 2 book chapters and more than 70 project completion, consultancy and workshop reports written.
Administratively, I have served as a chief of service in charge of socio-economist (2011 – 2013) and a chief of service in charge of the intensification and diversification program (2013 – 2020) as well as a Sub Director in charge of communication and documentation (2016 – 2020) all in IRAD.
I have a multidisciplinary academic background with a PhD in Environmental Science, Masters in Governance and Development in Sub-Sahara Africa, a post graduate diploma in Economic Policy Management (Gestion des Politiques Economique) and another post graduate diploma in Agriculture ‘Diplôme d’ingénieur agronome’ specialising in Economics and Rural Sociology.
