Postdoctoral Researcher in Environmental Engineering, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences

Prithvi Simha works as a Researcher at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and as CTO of Sanitation360 AB. Prithvi's research focuses on the safe recycling and valorisation of resources present in wastewater. Currently, Prithvi is developing a technology (alkaline urine dehydration) that converts human urine into a dry, hygienic, and high-quality solid fertiliser. If implemented globally, it could recycle 31 Tg of Nitrogen and 2.8 Tg of Phosphorus annually. His research has a socio-technical systems perspective and he likes to perform studies that help identify drivers and barriers to new sanitation practices and behaviours.
