PhD Candidate in Political Science, University of Melbourne

Priya Kunjan is a current PhD Candidate in Political Science at the School of Social and Political Sciences, University of Melbourne.

Priya's research engages notions of sovereignty and the intelligibility of political claims made by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples outside of democratic electoral politics in Australia. In particular, they are investigating the policing and representations of Indigenous peoples' political claims made in the form of public protest.
