Post doctoral research fellow plant evolution, The University of Melbourne

I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of BioSciences at the University of Melbourne, Australia. As a botanist, my main research interests include the study of evolution, species relationships and biogeographic patterns in plants. My research takes me right across Australia throughout some of the most remote and beautiful parts of the country to collect and document plant species.

My current research is focused on establishing evolutionary relationships in one of Australia’s largest plant genera, Eucalyptus, and its closest relatives. My other research interests include plant/insect coevolution and evolution in the large Australian plant group known as Emu bush (Eremophila).
