Rachel is a registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist and a Lecturer in Sports Nutrition at the University of the West of Scotland.
She has a PhD in Nutrition from Northumbria University, centered around the influence of dietary polyphenols (anthocyanins) on cardiometabolic risk factors and cognitive function in middle-aged adults, in the context of healthy ageing. Her research interests broadly lie within the role of nutrition in healthy ageing and physical performance.
