Dr. Ran Porat is an Adjunct Research Associate at the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation (ACJC). He teaches and lectures about Middle Eastern history, conflict studies and Israel studies at Monash University.
Holds a BA in Middle Eastern Studies, MA in US Studies. Ran's Ph. D. was titled Ausraelis - the Diasporic identity of Israelis in Australia".
Co founder of the Association of Israelis in Australia. The owner and chief editor of Ausraelim.com.au - the homepage for Israelis in Australia.
Formerly, a journalist and an international publicist about Israel.
