Rebecca Hawkings

Rebecca is a PhD candidate in the Department of Modern History at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Her current research project is an examination of national identity in Australian popular music cultures from 1972 to 2012. Rebecca's research interests include popular culture, Australian identity, arts policies, and Australian twentieth-century history.
