Réka Benczes is a Research Fellow at the School of Languages, Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics, Monash University. She has taught cognitive and cultural linguistics at Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest, Hungary) and Indiana University (Bloomington, USA). She is the author of Creative Compounding in English (2006, John Benjamins), Kognitív nyelvészet ([Cognitive linguistics], 2010, with Zoltán Kövecses, Akadémiai) and dozens of articles on lexical creativity, cognitive semantics, English word-formation, and language and conceptualization.
