Renã A.S. Robinson

Associate Professor of Chemistry, Vanderbilt University

My expertise is in using analytical technology to understand the molecular basis of health disparities in Alzheimer’s disease and sepsis. I am especially interested to understand the biology behind why African Americans have higher incidences of Alzheimer's disease and sepsis. These questions require high-throughput analytical methodology and my laboratory specializes in developing novel proteomics approaches involving mass spectrometry to address these questions in biological tissues and fluids.
