Reuben Rose-Redwood is Assocate Dean Academic in the Faculty of Social Sciences and a Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. His research focuses on the cultural politics of place, the history of cities, and the geographies of higher education. He is the co-editor of Performativity, Politics, and the Production of Social Space (2014), The Political Life of Urban Streetscapes: Naming, Politics, and Place (2018), Gridded Worlds: An Urban Anthology (2018), International Encounters: Higher Education and the International Student Experience (2019), and International Student Activism and the Politics of Higher Education (2024). He currently serves as Managing Editor of Dialogues in Human Geography.
