I am a PhD candidate with the QUT Digital Media Research Centre (‘DMRC’) and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (‘ADM+S’). My primary research interests lie at the intersection of public law, data science and automated decision-making. But I also research and write about the broader impacts of digital technologies on individuals, organisations and governments. As a PhD candidate at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society, I examine regulatory responses to the public sector's use of automated decision-making systems that employ artificial intelligence.
