PhD Candidate in Economics, Australian National University

Riandy Laksono is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University (ANU). His research interest lies in the intersection of international trade, firms, and the labor market. Before pursuing his Ph.D. degree, he spent around 10 years working as an economist and policy analyst for national and international organizations in the area of trade and investment, including ERIA, APINDO, and projects funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australia. He has six years of teaching experience in various economics-related subjects at leading universities in Indonesia and Australia. He is a recipient of the Australia Award Scholarship (AAS) and was the president of the Indonesian Student’s Association at the ANU in 2021-2022.
