Research Consultant in Humanities, History and Phenomenology of Religions, The University of Queensland

Not only has my research included the publication of five books on topics in modern approaches to the study of religion, but also work on the American Civil Rights Movement of the 1960-s. I was a volunteer in Martin Luther King, Jr.'s organisation (SCLC/SCOPE), which staged a massive voter registration drive throughout the South during the summer of 1965. My current research is about the spirituality of sport and the continuity of this theme from ancient to modern Olympic Games.
