Richard K Valenta

Rick Valenta is the Director of the WH Bryan Mining and Geology Research Centre at the Sustainable Minerals Institute at The University of Queensland. Prior to that, he spent 23 years in Exploration and Development with major and junior mining companies in Australia and Canada in senior technical and executive roles. He has been involved in numerous mineral discoveries and research relating to exploration targeting. His current role is focused on maximising the value of geological information in the entire exploration and mining continuum. He leads the Complex Orebodies Program in the Sustainable Minerals Institute.
