Richard is an Assistant Professor at the University of Western Australia Business School. His research interests include digital marketing, operations and IT management, and sustainable supply chain management.
Richard obtained several awards for his research and teaching. His work has been published in leading international journals such as the European Journal of Information Systems, the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. His most recent work is forthcoming in the Journal of Cleaner Production and the Journal of Marketing Management. Richard is also a regular contributor to executive teaching programs.
Prior to his academic career, Richard was a marketing manager for one of Europe's biggest media companies--Hubert Burda Media. He also has consulting experience with clients from the U.K., Australia, Germany, and Italy.
