Richard Law Kelsham Fullagar

Hon Professorial Fellow, University of Wollongong

Richard Fullagar is an archaeologist who has developed methods for understanding the function of flaked and ground stone artefacts, using microscopic use-wear and residue analysis. He has particular expertise in Aboriginal plant processing tools. He has undertaken fieldwork in many parts of Australia and southeastern Asia. Currently he is studying stone tools from Madjedbebe (Australia), Denisova Cave (Siberia) and Liang Bua (Indonesia).
