Rob is a health services researcher. He trained in manual therapy before going on to read medical statistics at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and doing a PhD in epidemiology/health services research at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Rob currently works part-time at University of Warwick on research related to back pain and clinical trials. He is currently enjoying working on collaborative projects with researchers at several high-profile institutions, including Queen Mary University, Monash University, and University of Cambridge. Rob works closely with the University College of Health Sciences, Campus Kristiania in Oslo, where he also holds a part-time position.

In addition to his academic work Rob is CEO of a University of Warwick spin-out company, Clinvivo Ltd, which provides services for use in clinical trials and health services research.
