Robert Forbes

Rob is Professor of Clinical Pharmaceutics and heads up the Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry thematic group within the School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Lancashire.
He joined UCLan in 2015 with over 20 years of industrial and academic experience.
A qualified pharmacist, he retains his interest in the study of small drug molecules but his research is now largely directed towards the stabilisation and formulation of biopharmaceuticals.
Rob is a GPhC registrant and is research active in Drug Discovery and Drug Delivery and Nano-medicine.
