Robert McCausland

Robert McCausland is currently R&D Programme Manager at the Centre for Secure Information Technologies where he leads a data analytics engineering activity focused on cyber security.

He has extensive experience as a product delivery specialist working on Identity Services solutions for BT. He has lead teams responsible for the design and delivery of identity, multi-factor authentication and fraud services. Robert was involved in the early implementation of telecommunications elapsed time pricing and has considerable experience of building scalable solutions. Working in smaller organisation Robert has delivered distributed risk management solutions and has significant experience implementing to WAP and 3G standards.

Robert has a honours degree in Physics and Ph.D in Astrophysics from Queens University Belfast.
