Rodrigo Duarte

After completing my PhD in Neuroscience at King’s in 2017, I began a postdoctoral research position at the Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry Centre. I research the genetics of psychiatric phenotypes and heritable diseases by analysing genomic and transcriptomic data, and by characterising the function of genes and human endogenous retroviruses in relation to complex traits. I have experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, transcriptomics, tissue culture, and confocal microscopy.
