Dr Romola Adeola is a Steinberg Fellow in International Migration Law and Policy at the Faculty of Law, McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She was formerly a legal researcher with the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria in South Africa, where her areas of expertise were law and policy aspects of migration, refugee protection and international development law. She has worked as a consultant on these issues with African governments at the level of the state and also the African Union. She holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Pretoria.
