Ronny Kutadinata

Senior Technology Leader (ITS Research), Australian Road Research Board

Dr Ronny Kutadinata re-joined the Australian Road Research Board in 2022 to work within the Transport Futures portfolio. He specialises in mathematical modelling of physical systems for optimisation, control and automation. His research interests include vehicle and traffic modelling, traffic network control, and transport optimisation.

Before re-joining ARRB, Dr Kutadinata had worked as a Lecturer at Deakin University, a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne, and as a Senior ITS Engineer at the Australian Road Research Board. He was responsible to lead several projects and initiatives at UoM, Deakin, and ARRB, some of the notable ones include: initiating a collaborative project with Hannover University; leading a work package for an industry-led iMOVE Freight Data Study project; and being the Technical Secretary of the 2nd International Driverless Vehicle Summit.
