Ronny Kutadinata

Lecturer, Deakin University

Dr Ronny Kutadinata joined the School of Engineering at Deakin University in 2019 as a Lecturer in Mechatronics. He specialises in mathematical modelling of physical systems for optimisation, control and automation. His research interests include vehicle and traffic modelling, traffic network control, and transport optimisation.

Before joining Deakin, Dr Kutadinata had worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne and as a Senior ITS Engineer at the Australian Road Research Board. He was responsible to lead several projects and initiatives both at UoM and ARRB, some of the notable ones include: initiating a collaborative project with Hannover University; leading a work package for an industry-led iMOVE Freight Data Study project; and being the Technical Secretary of the 2nd International Driverless Vehicle Summit.
