Rosemary Rochford

Professor of Immunology and Microbiology, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus

Rosemary Rochford received her PhD in virology at the University of California, Irvine. She has held faculty positions at the University of Michigan and at SUNY Upstate Medical University and leadership positions (Chair and Vice President for Research) at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She is currently a Professor of Immunology and Microbiology at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine. Her research focuses on studying how viruses can cause disease. Her major interest is on Epstein-Barr virus and how it can cause Burkitt lymphoma. Rochford's research has been funded through NIH since 1997. She has published over 100 peer reviewed articles and reviews.
