PhD Candidate in Social Psychology, University of South Florida

I am a 4th year PhD candidate at the University of South Florida. I investigate attitudes and perceptions towards women, which I approach from multiple perspectives: men’s attitudes towards women, men and women’s perceptions of other women, and women’s self-perceptions. By understanding how women are impacted by their position in society, I aim to identify mechanisms that can ultimately make women’s lives better (e.g., reducing dehumanizing perceptions of women). My research incorporates social media to understand how these processes play out, and are exacerbated in, virtual spaces.
