Russell Murphy

Russell Murphy is Research Professor of Law at Suffolk University Law School. Among the courses Professor Murphy has taught are Criminal Law, International Human Rights, The Death Penalty, and American Politics. He has lectured extensively in the US and Europe, including presentations at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in the Hague and at the University of Lund, Sweden. He has written numerous articles on the death penalty and published the book Voices of the Death Penalty Debate: A Citizens Guide to Capital Punishment (Vandeplas Publishing 2010). Professor Murphy is also is co-founder of Film and Law Productions which recently released the award winning anti sex trafficking documentary "A Civil Remedy."
