Ruth Jelley

I hold a Bachelor of Arts - Professional Writing and Editing from Deakin (2000), Graduate Diploma in Editing and Publishing from RMIT (2004) and Master of Communication (Book Publishing) (2012) from RMIT.

I have worked as an editor in primary school and academic & professional publishing in Australia and the UK over a 10-year period. My masters thesis examined the progress of ebook publishing in Australian fiction publishing houses, exploring the challenges that publishers face in the modern environment.

My work at La Trobe's Faculty of Business, Economics and Law is based with the Teaching and Learning team and focuses on how open educational resources can help achieve efficiencies in learning and teaching, and improve the student experience.
