Ruth Leary

Ruth Leary is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the Centre for Cultural Policy Studies and is Course Director of the MA in Creative and Media Enterprises.

Ruth holds an MA in European Cultural Policy and Administration (Warwick) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Post-compulsory Education (Warwick). Ruth was awarded one of five commendations for excellence in teaching and the support of learning in the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence 2010.

Ruth's research interests relate to pedagogy and embodied learning, creativity theory (cognitive and social psychology, psychoanalytic theory, management); the management of creative business; creative and group dynamics; copyright and intellectual property; cultural and aesthetic theory, cultural enterprise and entrepreneurship, space and performance, development and sustainability in the cultural sector, digital and social media, TV; film; fashion; advertising, art and design.
