Ruth Smith

Ruth Smith is currently a PhD Researcher at the University of Leeds, UK. Her research focuses on the nexus of gender, agricultural development and climate change. Taking an intersectional approach to her research, Ruth examines the power and influence of external donors on how agricultural development policies and projects are designed and implemented in sub-Saharan Africa, and how mainstream framings of gender manifest.
