BrightSpark Foundation Research Fellow, The University of Western Australia

I am a BrightSpark Foundation Research Fellow. I received a BSc (Hons), with a double major in Biomedical Science and Molecular biology, with honours in mucosal immunology from Murdoch University and a PhD in child health research with a thesis assessing bacterial persistence mechanisms in children with otitis media. My research interests lie in understanding the interactions between bacteria and the host in chronic and recurrent respiratory infections including ear, nose and throat infections and chronic lung disease.
