PhD Candidate in Divinity, University of Cambridge

Ryan researches early Christian history, doctrine and literature. In particular, he is interested in early Christian ideas about moral formation and also how ancient literature can influence the beliefs and actions of its audiences.

Alongside his research he is also training for ordained ministry in the Church of England and serves as a Deans Vicar in Peterhouse Chapel.
