Dr Sally Holloway is a historian of gender, emotions, and material culture in eighteenth and nineteenth-century Britain, specialising in the making and breaking of romantic relationships. She is currently a Vice Chancellor's Research Fellow in History & History of Art at Oxford Brookes University. Her first book The Game of Love in Georgian England: Courtship, Emotions & Material Culture was published by Oxford University Press in 2019, and released in paperback in 2022.
