Salman Shooshtarian

Dr Shooshtarian is a Senior Lecturer and an active researcher in the fields of environmental sustainability, urban ecosystems, and construction sustainability. His current projects focus on the circular economy and construction and demolition waste management.

He has extensive experience in designing and performing empirical research projects (quantitative and qualitative) and has established collaboration with different research teams on several national and international research projects. He received his PhD in the Built Environment from RMIT University in 2017.

Dr Shooshtarian is a member of the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRAA) Victoria Waste Educator Working Group, the International Association for Urban Climate (IAUC) and the International Association of Energy and Built Environment (ISEBE).
