Sam Pegler

I completed my PhD in applied mathematics at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at the University of Cambridge in 2012 under the supervision of Grae Worster. My thesis concerned the large-scale dynamical stability of ice sheets.

Between 2012 and 2014, I was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at DAMTP studying the viscous dynamics of flow in porous media, motivated by the industrial process of geological carbon-dioxide storage. Concurrently, I held a Junior Research Fellowship at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.

From 2014 to 2016, I was College Teaching Officer in Mathematics at Queens' College, Cambridge, and Affiliated Lecturer at DAMTP.

Since 2016, I have been University Academic Fellow in Fluid Dynamics in the School of Mathematics, University of Leeds.
