Samantha Hoffman is an independent consultant focused on Chinese politics, civil unrest, security policy and international relations. She is a PhD Candidate at the University of Nottingham’s School of Contemporary China Studies. Her research focuses on the CCP’s “social management” and “social governance” policy.
